Ejercito opens COD Christmas display

San Juan Mayor Joseph Victor Ejercito led the opening of the COD Christmas display in Greenhills over the weekend with a gift-giving program for 300 daycare and street children.

The Christmas display, which was started by the owners of the COD department store in Manila and held over 40 years at the COD department store in Cubao, Quezon City, is now on its sixth year at Greenhills.

The theme of this year’s display is about environmental protection, featuring the village of Mapuntod, the old name of Greenhills. The COD Christmas display will have its regular 15-minute show from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m., with an interval of 30 minutes between shows. – Jose Rodel Clapano
