Quezon City Public Library celebrates 60th anniversary

The Quezon City Public Library (QCPL) celebrated its 60th anniversary last Aug. 15 at QCPL Main Office, with the theme “Mga Aklatan ng Lungsod Quezon: Atin Ito, Ating Gamitin at Pagyamanin.” The affair was marked by giving recognition to the supporters and donors of the library as well as the presentation of a special puppet show by selected librarians of QCPL from Districts I-IV.

Vice Mayor Herbert Bautista and Joy Belmonte-Alimurung were the guests of honor during the occasion.
