Businessman files raps vs cousin over ‘borrowed’ car

-

A businessman filed charges against his cousin for failing to return a truck he borrowed despite his repeated demands.

Jackson Chua, 23, a resident of East Grace Park in Caloocan City filed a complaint against Dan William Chua, of Sta. Cruz Village in Bulacan, alleging that Dan borrowed his white Mitsubishi Canter truck last Monday to pick up some things in Cabanatuan City.

Dan, however, did not return the vehicle on the day he promised he would. Jackson sought the help of the Caloocan City police.

Chief Inspector Erwin Emelo and three policemen conducted a follow-up operation and recovered the truck, which was parked in the garage of a house in Tondo, Manila. Dan was not around when the vehicle was recovered. The truck is in the temporary custody of the Caloocan police’s anti-carjacking unit.   – Jerry Botial
