St. Therese relic arrive in RP
The country’s Catholic faithful will once again have the privilege of seeing the relic of St. Therese of the Child Jesus, for a three-month visit and tour around the country.
The relic of St. Therese of the Child Jesus arrived yesterday afternoon at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) for the second time since it arrived on Jan. 30-
The relic 1.5 meters in length, 0.95 meters in width, 1.85 meters in height and some 132 kilograms in weight or a total of 241 kilos, including the case and was brought to Villamor Air Base Kalayaan Lounge for uncrating by Air Force personnel.

Lagoutte said St. Therese is now 110 years old. One year before she died, she wrote a diary that she wanted to be at a remote island and spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Later the relic was turned over to Bishop Leo Tumulak, the St. Therese Church Diocese.
