Experimental traffic scheme on Shaw

The Traffic and Parking Management Office of the city of Mandaluyong has announced the implementation of an experimental traffic scheme for the entire stretch of Shaw Boulevard, from Kalentong to San Miguel Avenue, to decongest traffic volume and bring to about smoother flow of vehicles in the area.

The experimental traffic will be implemented from June 15 to July 15.

The following sidestreets along Shaw Boulevard will have one-way traffic: Bernardo street from Haig street going to Shaw; Magalona street from Shaw to Haig street; Gomezville from Shaw to Guerrero street; Luna Mencias going to Shaw; Pilar street from Calderon street to Shaw; Mabini street from Shaw to San Juan boundary; Ideal street from Shaw to Lee Sr.; S. Laurel street from Shaw to Lee street; Lee street from S. Laurel street to Shaw; Old Wack-Wack road from Shaw; and Sto. Cristo street going to Shaw.

From Shaw (Pasig-bound), there would be no left turns on the streets of Bernardo, Luna Mencias, Lee, L. Cruz, Araullo, Gomezville, Torres, Calderon, Pilar Mabini, Ideal and S. Laurel.

From Shaw (Kalentong-bound), no right turn on the streets of Lee, Luna Mencias and Bernardo. No left turn are the streets of Laurel, E. Rodriquez, Bonifacio, Vicencio and L. Gonzales.

There will be no u-turns on Samat street/flyover to Sheridan-San Miguel streets.

No crossing is allowed on Vicencio street, Guerrero street, Torres street, Calderon street and E. Rodriquez street

All motorists are advised to heed the traffic signs in said areas.
