Five motorcycle-riding armed men robbed a gasoline station at a busy intersection in Sta. Ana, Manila on Monday evening.
No one was reported injured in the heist at the Petron gas station at the corner of Tejeron and Syquia streets at about 5:30 p.m.
Police said the suspects initially posed as customers, while two of them proceeded to the cashiers booth and ordered the two lady cashiers to lay face down on the floor while they scoop up the days earnings from the cash register. One of the suspects also took the cellular phone of a lady pump attendant.
Witnesses said the heist was over in less than five minutes. The suspects fled aboard two Enduro-type green and white motorcycles which sped off towards the Pandacan area.
