Seized from the suspects were a 9 mm pistol, a caliber .38 revolver, a pen gun, several bullets and an 11-inch fan knife.

Investigation showed the suspects were accosted at around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday along Dagat-Dagatan Avenue in Caloocan City.

A team led by SPO1 Arnold Gonzales was patrolling the area when they noticed three suspicious looking men along the busy road. The police frisked the men and confiscated the weapons.

At the police station where they were taken for questioning, probers gathered that the suspects were also wanted for involvement in pervious hijackings in the area. The suspects have been detained as charges are being readied against them. Jerry Botial
