Drunk picks wrong gal to molest

-
A 40-year-old family driver, who had one drink too many, mashed the breasts of a woman waiting for a ride to work in Sangandaan, Caloocan City, early Saturday morning.

The pretty woman turned out to be a policewoman.

PO2 Nicah Belo of the Caloocan City police station Women’s and Children’s Desk, said suspect Arturo Estillore of Block 19, Lot 3, Francisco Homes, San Jose del Monte, Bulacan is detained at the city jail for acts of lasciviousness.

The victim, PO1 Vanessa Cherry Cruz y Yap of the Mandaluyong police station, 25, single, of Block 2 Lot 6, Area B, Sapang Palay, Bulacan said the incident happened at around 5:30 a.m. as she waited for a bus in Sangandaan. The rookie cop, who was assigned to a mall in Mandaluyong City that day, said she was shocked when Estillore, reeking of liquor, suddenly grabbed her breasts.

Although initially unsettled by the assault, the irate Cruz managed to introduce herself as a policewoman before grabbing the suspect by the collar and socking him straight on the chin with all the strength she could muster.

But the man, although inebriated, was stronger and tried to pursue his intentions.

Cruz then whisked out the handcuffs she always has with her and manacled the man, who looked puzzled over the turn of events.

Cruz later hailed a jeepney driver to help her bring the suspect to jail.

Estillore said he was on his way home after a night’s drinking with friends when he passed by the victim, who was then in civvies, waiting for a ride. "I could not keep my hands off her beautiful bumpers," the suspect said adding that it was the alcohol in him that made him do it. – Jerry Botial
