Woman, 58, dies from electrocution

CEBU, Philippines - A 58-year-old woman was found dead after being electrocuted Sunday noon while bathing in the bathtub at her residence in barangay Marigondon, Lapu-Lapu City.

Ruby Libarios, of sitio Suba Panas, barangay Marigondon was taken to Mactan Doctors’ Hospital.

Manilyn Amarille, 23, who helps around the house while at the same time attends schooling, found Libarios in the bathtub and informed Libarios’s husband.

The husband was almost electrocuted when he touched his wife. So, before lifting her he turned off the shower heater.

Libarios had burns on her right hand.

His wife’s body was brought to the Cosmopolitan Funeral Parlor and was subjected to an autopsy.  (FREEMAN)
