2 men charged for harboring Joavan

CEBU, Philippines - The police filed a case in the Talisay City Prosecutor’s Office Tuesday against two men for allegedly helping fugitive Joavan Fernandez escape from the Talisay City police detention cell and harboring him.

Charged were Jeffrey Sy, who allegedly drove the vehicle Joavan used to escape from the stockade and Harold Bermudo, makeup artist.

Senior Inspector Alan Cuizon said yesterday that Bermudo does the makeover for Joavan every time he goes out of his hiding place.  (FREEMAN)
