PUJ barker shot dead

CEBU, Philippines - A 39-year-old jeepney barker was shot and killed yesterday afternoon near the Saint Joseph Parish in Tabunok, Talisay City.

Dominador Nacario, who sustained a gunshot wound at the back of his head, died on the way to the Talisay City District Hospital.

 Inspector Margienett Yosores, SPO1 Mikie Espina, PO1 Stephen Sefuesca, and PO1 Edwin Campomanes immediately responded the alarm.

Yosores said the killer, wearing a bonnet and helmet and driving a motorcycle with no plate number, acted alone.

Upon seeing Nacario, the man got off from his motorcycle, shot him, then returned to his motorcycle and drove off toward the south, Yosores said.

The police recovered from the place an empty shell of a .45 caliber pistol.

Yosores said one of the motives being looked into by the police is personal grudge. (FREEMAN)
