Man commits suicide after failed relationship

CEBU, Philippines - An alleged drug dependent took his own life after failing to save his relationship with his girlfriend.

Earl Bustamante, 37, legally separated, was found hanging by the neck at 6 a.m. yesterday morning.

The man left a suicide note which read: “pasayloa na lang ko ninyong tanan. Pahibaw-a lang si Lennie para magmalinawun iyang huna-huna.”

Bustamante’s father said he had overheard his son telling his girlfriend over the phone that he would commit suicide if the relationship could not be patched up. – (FREEMAN)
