Man arrested for stealing chickens

CEBU, Philippines - The police in barangay Canduman arrested Thursday dawn a 19-year-old man with three stolen chickens inside a sack he was carrying.

Raymond Pindo, 19, single, a native of Zamboanga del Norte, is temporarily residing in barangay Canduman.

Police said the man stole the chickens from neighbors Elena Gumandoy, 35, and Gregorio Francisco, 39, and reportedly put the chickens inside a sack.

But police spotted him near a gasoline station and when Pindo saw the police he tried to flee but was caught and taken to the Canduman police station. Pindo admitted to stealing the chickens from his neighbors.  (FREEMAN)
