Ramon Magsaysay Hospital opens in Zambales

Manila, Philippines -  President Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Hospital in Iba, Zambales is now open to provide health and medical services to Zambaleños.

Zambales Governor Hermogenes Ebdane Jr. had envisioned establishing in his province a fully-subsidized healthcare system and bring health services closer to the people.

“It would be a cornerstone of my administration to give the best healthcare services to all sectors of society,” says Ebdane Jr. “It is my long-term aspiration that Zambaleños do not have to travel to other cities or provinces if they need to have a CT scan or x-ray or ultrasound. I want my people to have these services within their reach at the lowest cost possible.”

Dr. Raulin Dadural, provincial health officer, shares the the governor’s sentiments.

Back then, the provincial government did not have adequate funds to procure state-of-the-art medical machines. And then came Himex Corporation, a private company which gives healthcare services top priority over and above earning profits.

A joint venture in healthcare development was initiated and implemented by Himex Corporation under its Kruvim principle, a fusion of manpower, strength, and knowledge to achieve common solutions, sustainability, and continuous growth for hospitals in the Philippines.

“It is our vision and mission to continue to rehabilitate and develop the Radiology Department of all hospitals and to deliver the best medical services to every Juan dela Cruz,” muses Rema Padilla-Ohno, Himex EVP.

President Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Hospital has renovated its Radiology Department and acquired brand-new and top-of-the-line Hitachi diagnostic imaging equipment such as the multi-slice CT scan, high-end ultrasound, and x-ray systems.
