SC names 15 testing centers for 2026 Bar exams

MANILA, Philippines — The Supreme Court (SC) has assigned 15 schools across the country as testing venues for the Bar examinations on Sept. 6, 9 and 13.
In Bar Bulletin 3 issued by Associate Justice Samuel Gaerlan, seven schools in Metro Manila, three in Luzon, three in Visayas and two in Mindanao were named as local testing centers or LTCs for the three-day exam.
For Metro Manila, the SC named the New Era University, University of Santo Tomas, San Beda University, Ateneo de Manila University School of Law, Manila Adventist College, University of the Philippines Bonifacio Global City, and San Beda College Alabang as LTCs.
Also included in the LTCs list are Saint Louis University in Baguio City, Cagayan State University, University of Nueva Caceres, Dr. V. Orestes Romualdez Educational Foundation in Tacloban City, University of San Jose-Recoletos in Cebu City, Central Philippine University in Iloilo City, Ateneo de Davao University and Mindanao State University-Iligan Institute of Technology.
“The #AweSAMbar2026 path is not without its challenges, many of which may be beyond your control, pulling you away from routine, perhaps removed from the comfort you had intended to lean on. The unexpected does not diminish you. The unfamiliar does not define you. It is simply part of your becoming,” Gaerlan wrote, referring to the hashtag for this year’s Bar examinations.
San Beda College Alabang will serve for the third time as the national headquarters for this year’s Bar exams.
