2 found dead in car parked along TPLEX

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga, Philippines — Two people were found dead inside a car parked at a gasoline station along the Tarlac-Pangasinan-La Union Expressway in Victoria, Tarlac on Wednesday afternoon.

The bodies have been claimed by relatives, but police withheld their identities pending results of investigation.

In a post on social media, Col. Harry Lorenzo, Tarlac police director, said that relatives requested to keep the matter private and allow them to mourn in peace.

Reports said the bodies were discovered by workers of the gas station who noticed that the car had been in the area longer than expected.

Responding police officers towed the car toward the police station for proper disposition.  - Artemio Dumlao
