DAVAO CITY, Philippines — Presidential son and former Davao vice mayor Paolo Duterte rejected renewed calls to bare his back amid accusations of his alleged involvement in the illegal drug trade.

“Kabalo ko unsa ang naa sa inyong utok, ‘Naa ba gyod na sya’y dragon tattoo sa likod?’ Kabalo ko mao na inyo gusto istoryahan no? Dili ko. Patulan ko ng amawa na mura pod ko’g buang pareha niya (I know what you are thinking, ‘Does he really have a dragon tattoo on his back?’ I know you want to talk about it. I won’t. If I respond to that crazy person, I would appear crazy too),” Paolo told a cheering crowd of supporters who attended a local rally in a campaign for local candidates in Davao City’s first district Saturday night.

Paolo, who is running unopposed for first district representative, was referring to Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV, who has been demanding that the presidential son show his back.

Paolo has filed several libel cases against Trillanes because of the drug-related accusations. His siblings Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio and Sebastian were also present during the rally here.
