It adds that the road is still passable to all types of vehicles.

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority monitors several flooded areas on Thursday afternoon due to heavy downpour.

Here are the flood updates from the topic authority:

  • As of 5:11 p.m., at Andrew Ave. Tramo intersection. Gutter deep. Passable to all types of vehicles.
  • As of 5:13 p.m., at Bonifacio Drive corner 25th St. Gutter deep. Passable to all types of vehicles.
  • As of 5:38 p.m., at SLEX SM Bicutan. Knee deep. Not passable to light vehicles

  • As of 11:35 AM. EDSA POEA SB. Gutter deep. Passable to all types of vehicles.
  • As of 11:35 AM. EDSA Q-Mart SB/NB. Gutter deep. Passable to all types of vehicles.
  • As of 11:35 AM. EDSA Main Avenue NB. Gutter deep. Passable to all types of vehicles.

PTV reports that the fields in Mamburao, Occidental Mindoro are submerged in flood due to the continued rains brought by Typhoon Goring. 

Mamburao Mayor Angeline Tria suspended the classes and government work in her jurisdiction amid the flood.

The Metro Manila Development Authority reports that there is a gutter-deep flood in Quirino Guanzon both bounds C5 McKinley southbound) España Lacson Ave), intersections both bounds (EDSA Ortigas Service Road southbound).

It adds that these roads are passable to all types of vehicle.

Russia has evacuated more than 2,000 people from flooded areas in its Far East, emergency officials said Sunday, after Tropical Storm Khanun brought heavy rains to the region.

"More than 2,000 people, including 405 children, have been evacuated in Primorye," the Russian emergency situations ministry said on Telegram.

The ministry said nearly 5,000 buildings had been flooded in the Primorye region, which borders China and North Korea.

Rescuers had set up 13 temporary accommodation centres in the region, the ministry said. — AFP

Six people are dead and four are missing after torrential rain hit China's northeastern Jilin province, state media reported Sunday, the latest fatalities from more than a week of weather-related disasters across the country.

China has been hit with record heavy rains in recent weeks, with Beijing saying Friday that natural disasters had caused 147 deaths or disappearances last month.

And a further six dead and four were missing after heavy rain in the northeastern city of Shulan, state news agency Xinhua reported Sunday, citing local authorities.

Heavy rains in the area had now "basically ended", Xinhua said, with almost 19,000 evacuated and 21 "temporary relocation facilities" set up. — AFP

The Metro Manila Development Authority reports a gutter-deep flood along EDSA Oliveros northbound as of 4:50 p.m.

It says the area is passable to all types of vehicles.

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) denies that it was the Dolomite Beach caused flooding in some of the streets in Manila last Friday but the ongoing drainage systems project in the area.

MMDA Acting General Manager Baltazar Melgar says in a statement: "The reason why flood water subsided slowly during heavy rains last Friday was the ongoing construction of three pumping stations and a pipeline by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) which is expected to be completed by October," Melgar said.

These three pumping stations are the Padre Faura Drainage, Remedios Drainage and Estero De San Antonio.

The Metro Manila Development Authority reports flooding in several areas in Metro Manila on Thursday evening.

In its flood and road condition update, MMDA said some roads remain passable while it reported some area which are not passable due to flooding caused by persistent rains.

Below appears the list of flooded areas in Metro Manila

  • EDSA Balintawak LRT (Northbound) - Gutter deep; all lanes passable as of 5 :27 p.m.

  • Commonwealth Tandang Sora (East or west bound) - Gutter deep; All lanes passable as of 5:29 p.m.

  • EDSA Gen. Malvar (South or north bound) -  Gutter deep; All lanes passable as of as of 5:34 p.m.

  • C5 C.P. Garcia, Katipunan (South or north bound) - Tire deep; Not passable to light vehicles as of 5:47 p.m.

  • Quezon Ave. Biak na Bato (East or west bound) - Waist deep; Not passable to light vehicles as of 6:08 p.m.

  • EDSA Pasong Tamo ground level - Not passable to all types of vehicle

  • EDSA Pasong Tamo (South or north bound) - Waist deep; Not passable to light vehicles as of 6:15 p.m.

  • Panay Ave. between Sct. Albano and Sgt. Esguerra (East or west bound) - Head; Not passable to all types of vehicles as of 6:20 p.m.

  • EDSA Taft (Northbound) - Gutter deep; Passable to all types of vehicle as of 6:25 p.m.

The local government of Valenzuela City reports that some of its roads are flooded due to the monsoon rains.

In its 4 p.m. flood updates and road conditions advisory, the city government said that some areas are flooded but are passable to all types of vehicles.

The Metro Manila Development Authority says a gutter-deep flood is reported along EDSA Aurora tunnel northbound.

The traffic authority said despite the flood, all lanes are passable.

The flooding was caused by persistent rain brought by the southwest monsoon or habagat.
