GMA: German Moreno will be greatly missed

GMA network "mourns" the death of German "Kuya Germs" Moreno (in photo) after he suffered from cardiac arrest on Friday morning. 

MANILA, Philippines - GMA network joins the showbiz industry in mourning the death of German Moreno, popularly known as Kuya Germs.

Kuya Germs passed away on Friday morning after he suffered from cardiac arrest.

"The Master Showman will be greatly missed by his friends and fans both here and abroad, especially those in show business, where he devoted the best years of his life," said in the statement sent by GMA on Friday.

They added that his dedication to his work "will serve as an inspiration to all."

"GMA network deeply mourns with the entire entertainment industry the passing of our beloved German "Kuya Germs" Moreno. 

"The Master Showman will be greatly missed by his friends and fans both here and abroad, especially those in show business, where he devoted the best years of his life."

"Kuya Germs was responsible for building the careers of the biggest stars we have now."

"The epitome of a loyal Kapuso, his dedication to the industry will serve an inspiration to all. We pray for his eternal repose."

Kuya Germs has a radio program in the network's radio station DZBB, and the late-night variety show "Walang Tulugan with the Master Showman."
