NPA leader nabbed in Laguna

CAMP GUILLERMO NAKAR, Lucena City, Philippines – Police and military forces arrested a leader of the New People’s Army (NPA) in Cabuyao, Laguna Tuesday night. 

Reynaldo Hugo, with aliases of Adel, Bitoy, Yulo and Julian, was arrested based on a warrant issued by the Fifth Judicial Region in San Jose, Camarines Sur, a report received by Southern Luzon Command spokesman Maj. Angelo Guzman.

Guzman said Hugo is a member of the executive committee and operations officer of the NPA in the Bicol region.– Michelle Zoleta, Alexis Romero
