MS Motosuit 3rd leg race in Toledo this June 2

EBV - The Freeman

CEBU, Philippines - Cebu's top riders and their challengers from across the country will renew their rivalry in the third leg of the 2014 MS Motosuit Motocross Series billed as the 1st Toledo City Motocross Cup scheduled this June 2 at a specially-designed racetrack in Looc II, Barangay Bato in Toledo.

MS Motosuit big boss Lou Ornopia looks forward to another exciting showdown among top-caliber daredevils all over the archipelago after the highly successful first two legs staged in Calambua, San Remigio and most recently in Lugo, Borbon north of Cebu.

"For sure, it's going to be another highly entertaining motocross action in Toledo," said Ornopia.

Except for Burnok Mangusong who already went home in Davao, the stars to watch out for in the one-day joust are the multi-titled Jonjon Adlawan, Dondon Yuson, Wensor Famorca, Ambo Yaparcon, Venil Abellar, and John Flortes.

The categories to be contested are the mini 60cc and 85cc, beginners, local enduro, open enduro, executive A, B and C, novice, intermediate, expert and pro open.

After Toledo, the six-part series shifts to Dinagat Island in Surigao for the fourth leg on June 18.

Meanwhile, action-packed motocross show will be telecast over CCTN 47 every Saturday from 10 to 10:30 a.m., with replays every Sunday from 10:30 to 11 o'clock in the evening.

Hosted by the ageless Pepo Rubi, the revered "King of Cebu Motocross", and MS Motosuit operations officer Ramil V. Ayuman, the half-hour TV special features the humble beginnings of Cebu motocross as well as some highlights of the annual MS Motosuit series. (FREEMAN)
