Liloan goes 4-0 in GUV Cup Volleyball

CEBU, Philippines -  Team Liloan pounded out a 25-17, 25-17 victory over Toledo City to earn a share of group A lead in the women's division of the 2012 Governor Gwen Garcia Unity Volleyball (GUV) Cup, which temporarily shifted venue to the Mandaue City Central School.

Liloan, thus, joined last year's first runner-up Talisay on top of the totem pole with identical 4-0 cards.

Toledo crashed to its second setback in five starts.

In group B, defending champion Mandaue City and Catmon stayed undefeated after four games. Mandaue sustained its sizzling run with a 25-12, 25-17 thrashing of Minglanilla, while Catmon kept its record clean with a 25-10, 25-9 demolition of Oslob. (FREEMAN)
