CEBU, Philippines - Cebuano fight fans brace for another exciting Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) action inside an octagon cage via the San Mig Strong Ice-Fight Ground Championship (FGC) 3 this Friday night at the Mandaue City Sports and Cultural Center.

Backfist Promotions president Joseph Lanuza said the tournament is aimed at producing potential fighters that will be pitted against the best in Asia during the Pacific Extreme Combat (PXC).

“Tungod sa PXC naay padulngan ang career sa atong mga fighters dinhi sa Visayas," said Lanuza in a press conference yesterday at the Chill Out Bar just a stone throw away from Sykes building in Brgy. Panagda-it, this city.

“Nindot ni kay tagsa ra ta makakita og MMA nga octagon ang gamiton pareha sa atong makita sa UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship). Mas safe usab alang sa mga fighters kon octagon ang gamiton,” he added.

In the main attraction, Ramilo Esfra of ArcomJukai will face Victor Torre of Fight Club Bacolod.

Team Insider’s Adamson Torbiso will take on former pro boxer Alde de Soza of Bullet Muay Thai Stable, while Jhonjier Torbiso of Durex Dragon will go up agaist Danny Diaz, Jr. of Tiger Stable.

Six more exciting match-ups have been lined up to entertain the spectators.

Meanwhile, the official weigh-in is scheduled this 11am at the Chill out Bar.

Tickets are priced at P100 for the general admission, P200 for lower box, P300 for ringside and P500 for VIP. - THE FREEMAN
