2010 MS Motosuit Motocross Series on today

CEBU, Philippines - After being postponed last week due to bad weather, the opening leg of the 2010 MS Motosuit Motocross Series billed as "Manuel Wagas Cup" will finally take place today in Brgy. Jubay, Liloan.

Several clubs have already confirmed their participation in the one-day tilt including the Quickflight Racing of Pepo and Popeye Rubi, Power Sports Racing of Jonas Adlawan, Siegfred Ornopia’s Keiz BJ Racing, NR Racing of Nonoy Reluya, BJ Pepito Racing of Malou Pepito, Flores Racing, and MTS Danao Racing.

Riders from other areas in the Visayas and Mindanao are also expected to join the race.

Jon-jon Adlawan of PSR will start his title defense in the experts class while teammate Juvenille Abellar begins his back-to-back championship campaign in the intermediate category.

Seigfred Ornopia, the 2008 Rider of the Year awardee, is the man to beat in executive A, while John Flores is the star to watch out for in the novice open production.

The other forces to reckon with are Dongkey Sanchez in the open and local enduro and beginners open production, Jun Enriquez in executive B, Dr. Felipe Montejo in executive C, Brylle Ornopia in the mini class and BJ Pepito in the pewee under-7 bracket.—Caecent No-ot Magsumbol   (FREEMAN NEWS)
