Mutilated man’s head found
CEBU, Philippines - The head of the decapitated man dumped in Sitio Makatol, Barangay Biga, Toledo City, was recovered yesterday afternoon just a few meters from where his body was found.
SPO3 Jose Dante Talandron said it was a witness who requested anonymity who told them where it was.
The body has been identified as that of Alony Olasiman, 39, from Carmelo, Tuburan town, by his siblings Ariel Olasiman and Marites Abella.
The police found the head buried knee-deep just near the pit where the body was found.Olasiman’s ID was also found buried nearby.
The victim was also castrated, but his genitals have yet to be found.
Police believe they already know who killed the victim but are withholding information pending follow-up operations.
Talandron said they already informed the relatives of Olasiman about the recovery of his head.
Before Olasiman went missing, he was reportedly seen by witnesses in the house of his former live-in partner, Epefania Bajes. (FREEMAN)
