Unidentified man gunned down
CEBU, Philippines - A man known only as “Insik†was shot dead in Alviola Street, Barangay Tejero, Cebu City yesterday morning.
Believed to be in his late 40s, the victim who had tattoos in his chest, right shoulder, left arm and back of the body was found lifeless on the road.
The victim who was wearing a black shirt and blue jeans suffered gunshot wounds in his left and right parts of his body.
Nearby residents told police investigators that they heard three gunshots at around 4:20 a.m.
They later on found the victim lying lifeless.
One empty shell apparently of .45 cal. pistol was found by the Crime Scene Investigation Unit led by Senior Police Officer 2 Teodoro Lumanas.
The police are still investigating on the identities of both victim and the assailant as well as the motive of the killing. (FREEMAN)
