Woman molested by robber in Lilo-an

CEBU, Philippines - A 30-year-old woman was robbed and molested by a robber while walking home in Purok Red Rose, Barangay Yati, Liloan last Tuesday.

The victim, who is a resident of the said barangay, was reportedly on her way home past 12:00 noon when a lone robber held her at gunpoint, telling her to hand over her cellphone.

But when the victim told the robber that she had no cellphone, the robber reportedly aimed the revolver at the victim and ordered her to perform oral sex on him.

Lilo-an police head, Chief Insp. Jose Liddawa, said that the victim personally went to the police station and reported the crime.

According to Liddawa, the victim was bound home after bringing lunch for her kid at Yati Elementary School.

The robber was reportedly pretending to be urinating a few meters away from where the victim was walking when he suddenly declared a hold up and asked for her cellphone and money.

But since the victim had none, the robber pointed the revolver at her while he opened the victim’s blouse and sucked at her breasts. He then demanded for the woman to perform oral sex on him.

After the incident, the robber reportedly placed a P100 bill in the victim’s mouth and took off.

 The robber was only described as 5’1” to 5’2” in height, medium in built and was wearing a gray jacket, faded black jeans, a black ball cap and a pair of black slippers. He also was on board a white and yellow motorcycle with no plate number.

Liddawa said they went to the area where the incident took place to check for possible leads or evidences.  But he said that nobody saw what happened since the area is covered with big trees while the nearest house is about 30 to 40 meters away.

“Possible taga-diha ra to pero amo pang istoryahon ang biktima, kuhaan ug affidavit base lang sa iyang identification sa tulisan. (It’s possible that the suspect is just from the area. We need to speak with the victim again to take her affidavit on her identification of the robber),” he said. — (FREEMAN)
