Model raped in Consolacion

CEBU, Philippines - A 19-year-old model was raped by her neighbor in Consolacion town shortly before midnight Monday.

The victim reported at the Consolacion Police Station and alleged that the suspect, 22, barged into her room and raped her.

The victim told Police Officer 3 Marjorie Paller that she was unable to shout for help during the incident because the suspect threatened her with a kitchen knife.

Paller said the victim was left alone in their house because her mother was in Manila to process her travel documents for abroad.

According to Paller, the suspect may have noticed that the victim was sleeping alone because he was hired few days ago to fix the door lock in the victim’s house. –(FREEMAN)
