Boy accidentally shoots Ma with air gun
CEBU, Philippines - A three-year-old boy has accidentally shot his mother in the face using an improvised air gun at Barangay Mag-alwa, Tuburan town last Wednesday morning.
Carmelita Labongcogon, 46, was rushed to Tuburan District Hospital because of nose injury after a marble, which was used as bullet of an improvised air gun, hit it.
The victim was referred to Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center in Cebu City as she has to undergo an operation. In a report over radio dyHP, Exequiel, the victim’s husband, said that his wife was still asleep when the incident happened.
According to him, he was tending their farm while their three-year-old son was left playing with the improvised air gun. The air gun is allegedly used by his 15-year-old son for hunting wild animals and birds. — (FREEMAN)
