"Drug pusher" arrested

CEBU, Philippines - Police arrested an alleged drug pusher and seized from him 21 small packs of shabu Friday night in sitio Lato, barangay Kalawisan in Lapu-Lapu City.

Elvinsito Baguio, single, of legal age, and a resident of Kalawisan was arrested by the City Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operation Task Force (CAIDSOTF) led by its chief, P/Insp.Elvinsito Hife during a buy-bust operation.

Baguio allegedly sold a one small pack of shabu to a poseur buyer for P500.

Baguio managed to flee but was later caught.

When frisked, police found another 20 small packs of shabu and a .45 caliber pistol.

Police said Baguio has long been under surveillance. (FREEMAN)
