Investigation conducted by the responding officers of the San Remigio Police Station led by SPO1 Manolo E. Jo revealed that while the victims were attending their barangay fiesta celebration, some unknown men who were already drunk threw the glass and pitcher at the road.

This prompted the victims to pacify the men, who got angry and stabbed the victims.

They were rushed to the Don Severo Hospital in Bogo Cebu and were later taken to a hospital in Cebu City.

Those who stabbed them have yet to be arrested.
