Fetus found

CEBU, Philippines - A five-month old fetus, which is believed to be a female, was found in a secluded place in barangay Buaya, Lapu-Lapu City the other day.

While cleaning, Jervie Inot, a deaf-mute and a clean and green garbage collector, noticed a box containing a fetus wrapped in clothes.

Inot, using sign language to communicate, told police that he was heading home after cleaning his area at past 7 a.m. when he found a box.

He inspected the box and found a fetus. He went to his cousin to inform him what he found.

"Pag-uli nako, kita kog Karton unya akong gipunit pero pag-abli nako bata man diay ang sulod," Inot said.

Police took the fetus to the Lapu-Lapu City public cemetery. — THE FREEMAN
