TESDA bringing program to barangays

CEBU, Philippines - The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority in Central Visayas wants to produce high quality welders to address the needs of industrial establishments in the country and abroad.

TESDA-7 assistant director Buenafe S. Sta. Rita said they are closely coordinating with local officials for the implementation of the projects that provide technical and short courses to barangay residents, especially the out-of-school youths.

TESDA is also asking the support of Cebuano congressmen to allocate funds from their Priority Development Assistance Fund for this undertaking.
