Two killed in road accidents involving Rough Rider buses

The three victims were riding a motorcycle on the way to Carmen when the Rough Rider bus with plate number GVL 944 driven by Roygin Barhio hit them.

He said he was not really driving fast but the motorcycle ridden by the three victims just appeared from a corner such that he no longer was able to control his breaks.
“Dili man kaayo to kusog ang akong dagan unya kalit lang sila nibutho sa eskina unya nisarasay sila tunga sa dalan mao tong naabtan gyud nako sila ug nabangga-an nako ang ilang gisakyang motorsiklo,” Barhio said.

Meanwhile, another bus of Rough Rider figured in another road accident in Malabuyoc town Sunday evening, which left the victim in critical condition.
According to the medical blotter at the Emergency Department of the
Fuentes’ sister- in- law, Asuncion, said the victim was drunk when he crossed the street and just as he reached the other side of the road, reportedly swiveled and backtracked, thereby was hit by the speeding bus. The vehicle reportedly ran over the victim’s legs.
