Just like in real-life national or local politics, office politics both in government and private sectors have become a way of life, livelihood and, yes, organized corruption or crime!

And you say it’s the economy?

With rising costs of living maintenance both legal and illegal, office politics provide smooth interpersonal relationships with “teammates” in promoting and gaining personal as well as group self-interests!

Many an employee has fallen victim to the conspiracy of office politics.  Common legal remedies arising from such are constructive dismissal, preventive suspensions, illegal termination or forced resignations, as well as early retirement if not retrenchment due to alleged redundancies!

Not far from the use of power to impeach in a democracy. More often than not, demon-‘crazy’ is the apt term!
