CEBU, Philippines – Cynthia Thomalla, a Filipino-German Tourism and Events Management graduate joining in the “Tribu Himag-ulaw” contingent of Placer, Masbate, bagged the “Sinulog Festival Queen 2016” title in the recent Sinulog celebration.
Marianne Hernandez of Carcar City, Ceydney Basalo of Don Sergio Osmeña Memorial National High School, Hyra Desiree Betito of Looc Norte National School of Asturias, and Reginna Azucena Mondoy of Catbalogan, Samar, won first, second, third and fourth runner-up, respectively.
The festival beauties actually participated in last Sunday’s Sinulog Grand Parade, under sweltering sun – truly living up to their titles. (YRST)
