The Freeman

CEBU, Philippines - Singapore gears up for another year of thrills as the country proves it’s a place to see where the world is heading with a slew of grand festivities set for this year. Whether it’s your first-time or you regularly visit, Singapore never runs out of celebrations that let you journey to a world of unique experiences to spark wonder and excitement at every turn.

The Great Egg-venture

This Easter, the Sentosa Harborfront Business Association (SHBA) is hatching yet another egg-citing event – The Great Egg-Venture, Singapore’s largest Easter fiesta! The Great Egg-Venture will see you flying to and from Mount Faber, across the harborfront and onto Sentosa Island, in search of 100 giant eggs. Hunt through the nooks and crannies of Sentosa Harbor Front for these giant eggs and you could stand a chance to win attractive prizes.

If an egg hunt isn’t your thing, you could simply take pleasure in admiring these creatively designed eggs at this first-ever local “eggs-travaganza!” Some 200 local artists from various associations, charity groups, independent labels and schools will be showcasing their unique Easter Egg interpretations, measuring at 1.5 meters by 1 meter.

For those who prefer a more relaxing fun, there’s also a bunch of Easter-themed activities, from baking classes in hotels to roving performances at the malls. Of course, the fiesta wouldn’t be complete without great deals and promotions, such as special Easter brunches and amazing deals at the various hotels.

Tulipmania

Tulipmania is the second of six chapters in Gardens by the Bay’s storytelling journey in 2015. This enchanting series of floral displays will draw visitors into the magical world of folklore, legends, fairy tales and nursery rhymes as told through the language of plants.

The highly anticipated, annual Tulipmania display returns to Gardens by the Bay from March 20 to May 10 – this time amidst a colorful setting of magical fairy tales. In this third edition, visitors can look forward to an even wider selection of tulips – over 40 varieties in a myriad of hues and forms! Look out for captivating blooms like the scarlet “Red Riding Hood,” the “Purple Prince,” and the “Orange Princess” as they grace familiar fairy tale settings like Cinderella‘s carriage, Rapunzel’s tower, and the ginger bread house of Hansel and Gretel. There’s even a tulip named “Singapore”!

Whatever the occasion, whether it is a family vacation, romantic getaway or a barkada trip, Singapore refreshing experiences for visitors promises to bring out the most unforgettable of experiences that will last a lifetime.
