July 10th marked the 8th launching of Marco Polo Plaza's Culinary Journey - Sabores de España. Held at the Lobby Lounge of the hotel, guest of honor this time was H.E. Ignacio Perez Cambra who was assisted in slicing the Jamon Serrano by Honorary Spanish Consul in Cebu Anton Perdices, Marco Polo's GM Hans Hauri and Ms. Gema Pido, Cebu's authority on Spanish cuisine.

 Unlike last year, this year's launch of Sabores de España didn't see many invited guests, but Café Marco was filled to capacity. A selected few friends from the media were very much discernible. Of course, dear friends from Marco Polo like Resident Manager Julie Najar, Kyra Cabaero, Marcom manager, and Lara Constantino, Director of Marketing were all there to help welcome the guests. There were nine courses served us, but as usual, we opted to stick to our favorite dish - the Seafood Paella. The Sabores de España is held July of every year.
