“Highlights” by The Queen City Metropolitan Ballet Theatre
CEBU, Philippines - The Philippine Pediatric Society, Central Visayas Chapter is undertaking a fund-raising event, primarily to allow it to sustain its Pediatric Community Services in La Guerta Village, Lahug, and at the same time as a service to the Cebuano community by bringing to it a quality dance experience.
On August 22, at 8:15 p.m., science and art meet when the Philippine Pediatric Society – Central Visayas Chapter, present the Queen City Metropolitan Ballet Theatre in “Highlights,” at the opening of its second season, in a gala show at the Marco Polo Plaza Hotel. The performance is made possible in collaboration with Marco Polo Plaza Hotel and Biogesic.
The repertoire for this second season of Metropolitan Ballet Theater is completely different from that of the first, but just as diversified and entertaining. The program lasts approximately 90 minutes.
The repertoire, has never been performed outside of Manila, and will be real treat for ballet enthusiasts and newcomers to ballet alike.
Metropolitan Ballet Theater lauds the sponsoring partners for supporting this event, giving help to the poor communities, as well as raising the arts consciousness of the Cebuanos by supporting quality presentations.
