Fast Facts on Hearst Castle

CEBU, Philippines - It is located four hours' drive north of Los Angeles, or four hours' drive south of San Francisco, in the central coast of California. The castle, which is a California State Park, is open at 9 a.m. year-round except for Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year's Day. Summertime is a busy time for any tourist destination, so you can opt to visit in the fall, winter or spring time for a more relaxed experience.

Tour prices range from $25- $36 for adults, depending on which tour you choose. Children's tickets are from $12-$18. The guided tours last about 45 minutes.

There is dining available at the Visitor's Center, but you could also go to San Simeon if you're looking for a more special gastronomic experience.
