CEBU, Philippines - With two awards in a span of four months, visa and immigration services provider Ultimate Visa has proven that their efforts in continuously providing excellent service to their customers have paid off.

But bagging five more awards, making a total of seven this year, has Ultimate Visa the center of the map as one of the companies whose services are being sought out by the local, national and foreign markets.

Last April 18, 2012, Ultimate Visa was recognized as the Immigration Services Provider of the Year by the Business Achievement and Recognition Awards. Less than two months after, Ultimate Visa took home a national award as the Most Trusted Immigration Services Provider by the Global Management and Excellence Awards last June 16, 2012.

After three months, Ultimate visa has once again brought pride to Cebu as they were recently awarded the Best Immigration Services Provider in a national category last September 21, 2012, Friday at the Armed Forces of the Philippines Commission Officers Club, Tejeros Hall, Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City by Star Brand Philippines for Business Excellence in cooperation with Focus Media Entertainment Publishing Inc.

In the same event where known personalities, celebrities and achievers in their own industries were recognized , Ultimate Visa Corporation CEO Janet Altamarino was awarded the Outstanding Filipino Achiever in Business and Civic category.

The achievements did not stop there when just days after, Altamarino was once again awarded the Woman Achiever of the Year (Individual Category) by the Business Achievement and Recognition Awards (BARA) last September 30.

BARA also awarded Ultimate Visa Corporation President and Honorable Vice-Mayor of Ronda, Cebu, Atty. Jonnah John Ungab, the Business Achiever of the Year (Individual Category) award.

Altamarino shared that everything has been happening so fast but it's a happy progress. Altamarino, who is a graduate of Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication from St. Theresa's College, started the business in 2007 together with Ungab, her business partner.

After five years, Ultimate Visa has grown into one of the leading visa and immigration service providers in the country offering hassle-free processing for their customers on visa and immigration applications. Ultimate Visa now have 50 employees, a Manila office to add to their main location in Cebu. Four in-house lawyers are available for legal consultations on visa and immigration matters.

Altamarino said that after having been recognized in the local area with the first award they got, their dream was to be able to assist more people outside of Cebu by expanding their services.

The recognition in the national level came months after; Ultimate Visa is now receiving requests to expand their services outside of the country.

In fact, Altamarino shared that they initially thought that expanding internationally was a long shot but with the feedback they are getting, they are currently working on their expansion plans.

"For the first few awards, we believe that its only secondary receiving an award. What is important is giving the quality service to customers regardless if you will be recognized for it or not."

Altamarino shared that their determination in pursuing success in the immigration services industry is on being able to help more people fulfill their dreams, being employed in another country. She said that this is also their way of helping out the economy of the Philippines.

Aside from providing quality service, Altamarino shared that the secret to having a fruitful business is by valuing employees and including them in victories like the awards the company has won.

"As an employer, I see to it that my employees grow by nurturing their potential and helping them shine," adding that the company has grown "because of the employees and their customers." (FREEMAN)
