Mortal Wounds

CEBU, Philippines - There is an audible buzz as I make my way into G Gallery. Artists of all sizes and shapes, as well as their fans, mingle over the generous spread as they take stock of what's on offer. It's a curious mix: stark abstract paintings are hung together with much louder expressionist pieces and gloomy angst-filled works.
