Good Diet at the Gustavian

- Quennie S. Bronce -

Diets are the in thing now. People are already watching what they eat and drink to stay in the pink of health. But would you believe that you can eat whatever you want and still be following your diet?

It’s true! When you dine at The Gustavian, that is. Chef Robert Lilja and Chef Dietmar Dietrich recently introduced the “Good Diet” menu, with the concept that everyone can eat anything they want - bacon, steak, potato, rice - but in moderation! Eat smaller portions and you will still keep to your diet.

It is healthier to eat a little bit less! So no worries, we have designed our menus to fit your daily nutritional requirement and your desire for good gourmet food at the same time,” said Chef Robert. He shared that The Gustavian worked with nutritionists from Fitness First when they came up with the “Good Diet” menu.

The Gustavian’s “Good Diet” menu offers six choices of seafood dishes and tender and juicy classic steak preparations, which are only 4 oz. each. To accompany the dishes are six health drinks that are prepared fresh such as the Age Magnificent 007 which contains carrots, pepper, spinach, onion, celery cucumber, tomato and seasalt, and the Immune Booster, which contains carrots, celery, apples, beets and parsley.

Worried about your diet when you eat out? Well, you don’t have to when you dine at The Gustavian. The Gustavian Restaurant & Delicatessen is located at The Terraces at the Ayala Center, at the Ma. Luisa Road in Banilad, and soon at Marina Mall in Mactan.
