Happy eats and sports at the Gustavian in The Terraces

-

Some might deem it impossible for the armchair sportsman to have fun and eat the best European cuisine at the same time. But at the Gustavian Restaurant, in the new Ayala Center Cebu’s The Terraces, this fond wish of many has been granted.

Omaha Angus seared to perfection, with asparagus and green salad, melt-in-your-mouth crusted potato rissole, and smoked salmon with Caesar dressing? Only at The Gustavian.

The Tap Room’s five large screen televisions dedicated to sport, raffle draws, blues bands, and even the latest news on and practices of cricket, golf and even cribbage, are all part of being a Gustavian Restaurant patron, and subsequently a Gustavian Lifestyle Passport Holder.

“I wanted to create camaraderie amongst our regular guests, to not only make them happy with our food, but also make like-minded people feel like we are part of a family,” said Chief Executive Officer Robert Lilja.

This latest innovation from The Gustavian Group of Companies entails holders to fantastic discounts, access to the Executive Lifestyle Lounge and Business Center, and special promos, among many others.

To take it a step further, being part of the Gustavian family meant giving underprivileged children a new look at life through sports. More affluent clubs from around the world contribute sports shoes, uniform and financial resources for scholarships; and local members volunteer to teach classes on all kinds of sports.

“I hired the best person in world, Damien Allison, who has a sports club management degree, to materialize the dream of building and managing a social club so people from all walks of life can benefit and grow,” Chef Lilja said.

The Gustavian Restaurant showcases numerous homemade offerings from the deli and an ever-changing menu. But the heart behind it and the relationship it has with its patrons and members go a long way.

As best explained by Chef Lilja, “I am proud of the heritage of our European Cuisine and the ‘Service Culture’ that we try to keep up.” He emphasizes that the passion to give the best to every customer is something that they are proud of.

This passion, of course, also includes upholding the culinary heritage of the Continental Europe, Scandinavia, the Baltic Sea, Hungary, and all the way to the Dover cliffs Of Great Britain.

So for a fantastic dining experience—inventive cuisine of the past great European chefs and a lot of fun included—visit The Gustavian Restaurant at The Terraces, Ayala Center Cebu.
