A double celebration at Ayala Center Cebu

CEBU, Philippines - June – like February – celebrates love, as this month, we celebrate love for country and love for fathers. Show how much you value your country and your dad with exciting activities at Ayala Center Cebu that will make this a month to remember.

Wave your flag with pride starting with the month-long Bayan Bayani  campaign. Tomorrow, celebrate the 118th Philippine Independence Day by helping raise awareness and funds for the children and families of thesoldiers supported by the HERO Foundation. Providing educational assistance to children of soldiers killed in the line of duty, HERO  Foundation aims to help these children obtain a college degree and become productive members of society.

From June 12-16, learn more about the men and women of the Armed Forces of the Philippines through an interactive exhibit of gears and equipment at the Activity Center. In honor of the soldiers and veterans of the Force, enjoy a special sale from June 12 to 30 by participating merchants.

Show your support for local industries by joining the Department of  Trade and Industries as they launch their Negosyo Atbp. campaign on June 9, 2 p.m. at the Activity Center and check out small and medium-sized enterprises and their products from June 9 to 12 at Level 1 near Tempus.

On June 19, Ayala Center Cebu and R.O.X. ties up for Heroes’ Bike Out, a family fun ride around Cebu Business Park. Register at the Concierge  by donating P200 which avails participants of a shirt, snacks and a chance to win raffle prizes. Assembly will be at the Active Zone at 6 a.m.

Get into the spirit of volunteerism and sign up at the Bayan Bayani Volunteer Drive from June 12-16. Join the June activities of various non-profit organizations by volunteering for clean-up drives, dental missions and more. You can also participate in the Bamboo Propagation activity on June 25, 8 a.m. at the Cebu Business Park Tugkaran when  you register at the Concierge and donate P50.

Cap off the celebration with music from the Local Love Concert for a Cause as 2016 VISPOP winners pay tribute to soldiers and veterans on June 25, 6 p.m. at The Terraces.

Take your dad for a run with two upcoming fun runs coming up this month, the Kapamilya Run on June 12, 4 a.m. at the Terraces in celebration of DYAB’s anniversary and the Parklane International Hotel Hunat Sugbo Fun Run on June 26 at 4 a.m.

In celebration of Cebu Business Month, explore career opportunities from June 24-26 during the Cebu Business Month Job Fair and get to know Canadian companies, products, and services during the Canada Trade Fair on June 30 at the Activity Center and Exhibit Area, the latter  courtesy of Canadian Chamber and their partners.
