‘The Singing Bee’ returns tomorrow

The Freeman

CEBU, Philippines – ABS-CBN’s most requested musical game show “The Singing Bee,” hosted by seasoned hosts Roderick Paulate and Amy Perez, is back tomorrow with an exciting new twist that will surely make your mornings livelier and fun.

In this new season, “The Singing Bee” introduces a new round called “2 Beecome 1,” where the contestant with the highest combined points from first two rounds – “To Bee Continued” and “Beedeoke” – will face the defending champion. The winner from this round will win P20,000 and will proceed to the “Final Countdown,” where he/she has to guess three out of seven song lyrics correctly to win the pot money, which will start at P200,000. Twenty thousand pesos will be added into it in each day that nobody wins the final round.

Beauty queens Ruffa Gutierrez, Lara Quigaman and Shamcey Supsup will open the new season on Tuesday, while “Pinoy Big Brother All In” ex-housemates are set to compete again on Wednesday (September 17), not for the Big Winner title, but for “The Singing Bee” pot money.

Richard Poon, Sitti Navarro and Markki Stroem have established their names in singing, but on Thursday (September 18), their knowledge of song lyrics will be put to test. “Maria Leonora Teresa” stars Jodi Sta. Maria, Iza Calzado and Zanjoe Marudo, meanwhile, will clash on “The Singing Bee” stage on Friday (September19).

Don’t miss “The Singing Bee,” Mondays to Fridays at 10:30 a.m. on ABS-CBN. (PR)
