CEBU, Philippines - The power of intuition invades the first weekend of 2013 as Extra Challenge presents its Psychic Series  today and Sunday, January 6.

Ten psychics are to battle it out against one another to determine who among them possesses the most reliable psychic abilities: Eirik Cruz, Peter John Paul Elardo, Dorothy  Elardo, Ana Liza Dela Cruz, Elizabeth ‘Laiza’ Milo, Tony Suvega, Lian Ocampo, Robert ‘Rob’ Rubin, Carlyn ‘Len’ Sapungan, and Dong Kent Besas.

Situated in an old, abandoned building, the challengers will face each other off to win the cash prize amounting to P150,000.

In the first challenge, belongings of hosts Richard and Marian together with Boobay are placed in the building for the psychics to guess and ‘feel’ as to who the rightful owner is after which they will then place it on the boxes named after each host. But right before the challenge ends, a shocking twist will be revealed. Will they be able to guess which item belongs to which host?

And to spice things up, YouTube sensation Chicser will visit the set and a member goes missing—will the challengers be able to identify who the missing Chicser member is?

Come Sunday, six psychic challengers get eliminated leaving just four contenders to compete for the prize money.

The controversial Hayden Kho secretly pays a visit during the final challenge. A psychic then reveals Hayden’s identity and exposes information about Hayden he hasn’t even divulged yet making this challenger the runaway winner of the P150,000 prize money!

It’s one mind blowing episode this weekend, in Extra Challenge after 24 Oras Weekend on GMA-7. (FREEMAN)
