Miss International 2010 RP bet lands in top 15, Garners 2 awards

CEBU, Philippines -  Philippines’ bet Krista Kleiner made it to the Top 15 finalists at the Miss International pageant held in Chengdu, China  on Nov. 7, 2010. She also won Miss Expressive and Miss Talent awards. She earned the latter after performing an original song she co-wrote with RnB singer and boyfriend Jay-R (left photo).  

It was Miss Venezuela Elizabeth Mosquera who won the 2010 Miss International crown, while two Asians, Miss Thailand Piyaporn Deejing and Miss China Yuan SiYi, got proclaimed as first runner-up and second runner-up, respectively. Seventy contestants competed for the title, the highest turnout in the pageant’s 50 years of history. (THE FREEMAN)
