Charice to be featured in 4 US magazines
CEBU, Philippines - Filipina teen singing sensation Charice Pempengco will be featured in four high-profile US glossies after landing a coveted role on the second season of the hugely-popular musical TV show “Glee.”
According to the ABS-CBN news website, the fast-rising international pop star was in New York for three days for a series of interviews with Rolling Stone, US Magazine, and Seventeen.
Charice is also slated to travel to Los Angeles next week for a photo shoot with Teen Vogue Magazine, which has also tapped her to be its featured artist in its next issue.
Charice, who said in her Twitter account that she is in Macau right now for a series of performances, will be in South Korea on July 24 to make a return guesting on “Star King,” the TV show that practically triggered her international career. It was her guesting on “Star King” two years ago that caught the attention of Ellen DeGeneres, whose talk show was the first to bring Charice to the US.
Then on July 29, she will be back in the US to start shooting for “Glee.” She told ABS-CBN news that she has not seen the script yet, but that she’s already been prepped up for the role.
