KC, Richard mark many firsts in  “For The First Time”

The 15th anniversary of Star Cinema just got better and bigger.

After the critical and box-office success of CAREGIVER and A VERY SPECIAL LOVE, the country’s biggest film making country is ready and raring to come out with its latest movie, FOR THE FIRST TIME starring Richard Gutierrez and KC Concepcion.

The movie is a groundbreaker, as it achieves many firsts in the industry. It is the first movie of showbiz royalty KC Concepcion, undoubtedly one of the hottest female stars today.

It marks Richard Gutierrez’s (a showbiz royalty himself) first movie with Star Cinema. It is the first Filipino film shot in Greece, particularly, in the picturesque and very romantic island of Santorini.

FOR THE FIRST TIME is also Direk Joyce Bernal’s return to the big screen, a medium she is critically praised for and a definite fan favorite. Direk Joyce goes back to the love genre, something she has been longing to do again for the longest time.

For scenes shot in Greece, cast and crew stayed in Greece for 10 days, carefully studying and shooting critical scenes, ensuring that the tradition of Star Cinema’s quality filmmaking is captured perfectly for this project that everyone’s long waiting for. The actors gave their all for this material, given the many firsts in this project, and left no stones unturned to perfect their craft.
